CENTAFLEX-M is available in several sizes depending on propeller shaft speed and engine power. Many thousands of these couplings are in service worldwide in motor boats and yachts. Due to the large volume of rubber used a very smooth transmission of torque and propeller thrust is achieved. The coupling transmits torques of up to 500 Nm.0D;

The CENTA-DRIVE transmission is typically arranged between the output flange of a flange mounted marine gear and the propeller shaft.0D;

Therefore the engine is free of thrust and it can consequently be placed on much softer flexible mounts, in order to isolate the hull against the noise and vibration of the Diesel engine.0D;

The CENTAFLEX-AM is based upon the well proven classical CENTAFLEX coupling which has been modified to incorporate rubber thrust bearings to accomodate propellor thrust. Ten sizes are available for use in motor boats, large yachts, ferries etc.
