We import high quality teak (tectona grandis) lumber and logs from Latin America.
We choose to buy directly from local owners to ensure no natural forests are logged for this. The trees were planted between 40 and 100 years ago as savings for the owners’ retirement. They have not been dependent on the urge for high ‘Return on Investment’.
The wood has developed to decent diameters naturally.
