Durable, lightweight, efficient carbon rigging
CL SOLID & CL ELLIPSE solid carbon rigging are the foundations of Carbo-Link's marine solutions. First supplied in 2001 to round-the-world trimarans, CL SOLID rigging has since been implemented on a diverse range of yachts from Fast 40's to America's Cup winners to 80m+ superyachts. Carbo-Link's rigging solutions have the lowest cost of ownership than all alternatives, whilst also offering the highest performance with the lowest weight and windage for any given EA.

The most efficient furling forestays with zero degradation over time. Unidirectional core with +/-45 outer fibres cured into a solid carbon cable, ensuring stiffness in both tension and compression when furling. This drives high torsional stiffness and minimal lag from bottom to top.

Carbo-Link’s CL-CT carbon toggle is designed to replace standard, heavy, metal component parts. It is manufactured using pre-pregnated carbon fibres and titanium thimbles. The toggle is unique in its construction by separating load paths experienced by a toggle, with a tension element a torsion element.

Continuous solid carbon cable + flexible sections
Flexible sections where you need them, solid carbon everywhere else. CL HYBRID is a continuous cable with no joins along. Flexible sections are placed at deflector locations and boom interface areas. It is possible to profile the solid sections into an ellipse of varying aspect ratios.
