The ZF POD 4600 system provides speed and unmatched manoeuvrability to vessels up to 130 feet. It is suitable for both planing and semi-displacement hulls and compatible with all main OEM engines up to 1.700hp@2.450 rpm. High efficient counter-rotating propellers, horizontal thrust and reduced drag provide up to 15% more propulsion efficiency assuring less fuel consumption and emissions reduction

The ZF 400 transmission series gives manufacturers and fleet operators high flexibility for new design and retrofits thanks to the availability of multiple gear ratios and down angle, parallel, IV and W configuration variants. This advanced transmission family includes an optional embedded electronic unit to better control the proportional valves for smother shifting/trolling and to provide smart alert functionalities for scheduled maintenance.

The pods possess an optimized hydrodynamic shape which significantly reduces the drag and supports the counter-rotating propellers improving the overall horizontal thrust
