Now we can get a MOB back on board
LiveSavers are the answer to how we get an unconscious MOB back on board. We can't reach down to attach a line to him. A LiveSavers is 3 metres of 3mm Dyneema spliced into a loop, with a triangle formed at one end, that's attached to the lifting becket in a lifejacket. The LiveSaver is folded into the bladder of the lifejacket so that when the lifejacket deploys the LiveSaver floats out onto the water. We grab this with the boathook, attach the man to the boat and can lift him out on a halyard

LiveSavers®
A LiveSaver is the only way of getting an incapacitated MOB back on board. A LiveSaver is a spliced loop of Dyneema with a triangle formed in one end. The other end is attached to the lifting strop of the life jacket. The LiveSaver is folded on top of the bladder. When the lifejacket deploys the LiveSaver floats onto the water and can easily be grabbed by the rescuer on board with the boathook.

Now we can get an unconscious MOB back on board
A LiveSavers is a 3 metre loop of 3mm HMPE/Dyneema floating rope with a triangle formed in one end. The other end is attached to the lifting becket in the lifejacket. When the lifejacket deploys the LiveSaver floats out onto the water and the rescuer can grab this with the boathook and attach the MOB to the boat. They can then set up the retrieval rig and winch him on board.
